There was a neat little rod-show held at Werrington (near Penrith, NSW) over the weekend. The rules were similar to the Chopped show in Vic, with no billet rims, no uncovered IFS or EFI allowed in. The cut-off was a little more generous, set at 1969. It was a great little low-key show, with plenty of cool drag cars there to promote the upcoming Day of the Drags at Sydney Dragway. Lets hope they do it again next year! Pics courtesy of Corrine Falzon, thanks heaps!
My favourite ride of this year's Tug (a little rod run at Stanwell Tops, NSW) was Laurie Bellette's 1938 Ford COE. The truck runs a C20 chassis and small-block Chev combo for many effortless miles of cruising.
This is gonna be huuuuuuuuuge! For the 10th anniversary of MotorEX, the past champions have been invited back to go head to head with the latest and greatest. We're talking the Chevs of Grima, Sant and Retzos, King Kong Cuda and RAWR just for starters. Plus a whole bunch of kick-arse debut cars, a Shannons auction, freestyle moto cross and more!
