Harry's Cafe De Wheels in Sydney is great cruise spot on a Saturday night with a club or just some mates, and is home to the legendary pie floater. If a pie floater doesn't do it for you, there's always one of Franky's Kebabs! The last Saturday night of each month is tipped to be best night to get along.

The fire brigade even came along to check out the proceedings at one point, after the report of a shed fire from a concerned neighbour! The birthday boy is in the HQ tonner, with Jake in the Charger and Steve in the Dodge pickup. And a happy birthday to Daryl from the SM crew!
The Macquarie Towns Hot Rod Club once again invited us along to their regular mid-week shop visits. This one was to Wholesale Suspension in Penrith, who boast an impressive set up. Wholesale do all types of suspension work, and one off custom work is no problem.
A number of the rodders present put their cars up on the hoist to have the guys give it a once over. This provided a unique opportunity to get underneath the cars and check out up close how they had been set up. Throw in some snags on the barbeque and you've got a top mid-week night out.
Wednesday night saw us at Kreative Enterprises in South Windsor. The guys from Macquarie Towns Hot Rod Club were having one of their regular club get togethers, and invited us to tag along. Kreative do everything from minor fab work through to complete turn key streeters, and were responsible for the fabrication work on the 700rwhp Rambler Hornet we featured in the April issue. After checking out the current crop of projects on hand, the barbie was fired up. With a content belly and a head full of inspiration, it was time to head home through the fog. A good night!
With warmer weather and daylight savings almost here, now's the time to get your ride ready for some Summer cruising. To kick off the long weekend, I hit Harry's Cafe de Wheels in Liverpool in Western Sydney. There's just something special about getting the pride and joy out for a little night time cruise. Despite impending storms, there was still a selection of sweet rides from a bagged EK, to some classic muscle cars, plus some modern streeters too. Here's a few pictures from Harry's.
This is Canberra International Dragway as of last weekend. What a waste! It is just sitting there - beside an airport - while the town fathers continue to do nothing about the lack of quarter mile action in our nation's capital. Grrr!
