Well, almost finished. The crew had big problems on the trip down, with the tarp on the trailer flapping hard against the paint for hours. Made a big mess, but they got it looking schmick with some emergency help from Meguiars. More pics from the show here

This weekend - Meguiar's MotorEx

MotorEx kicks off at Sydney Showgrounds at 10.00am Saturday morning, with the covers will be pulled off a bunch of new cars at 11.00am. One of the star attractions will be this stunning twin turbo '69 Camaro, created by Kustom City on the Gold Coast. Built for owner Michael Te Ture, the car features extensive body mods - pretty much the only standard panel being the roof and 22x13in rear rims. The donk is based around a 375ci Dart block, with Gale Banks turbos and a pair of PWR liquid-air intercoolers. The car debuted in the raw at MotorEx 2007, but will be all finished for the this year's show.
