Queensland nostalgia drag racer Mark Stewart passed away this morning. Mark is best known for his spectacular wheelstanding antics behind the wheel of his beautiful PANIC altered and as the man behind the Six Banger Nationals. He was, however, much more than just a great showman and a talented mechanic; he was an inspiration to me and many others - the kind of bloke who leaves you wanting to do more with your own life and be a better person. I can't claim to have known him that well, but whenever we did cross paths, he struck me as a generous, postive and fun-loving guy. Mark, you'll be missed.
