Force Fed

One of the coolest Supercharged Outlaw cars around is Alan Mahnkoph's EH ute. Some of you might recognise the car as Geoff Devlin's Fireman's Quickie. Alan's previous ride was also a EH ute. Powered by a blown six, it graduated from being a fast street car into a 10-second Super Sedan. When Alan graduated to the current car he gave it a total makeover from the ground up and is now running in high sixes!

A very Mad Max Christmas

They say the joy of Christmas is in the giving, but I was pretty darned stoked with my new Mad Max t-shirt! Thanks Audrey and best wishes to everyone, I love youse all.

2000hp at the wheels?

Summernats 22 kicks off in Canberra on January 1. Last year Gus Nichols got within 60hp of cracking the magic 2000hp barrier at Horsepower Heroes - thanks to a broken driveshaft. Gus and his (blow through carbie equipped!) twin turbo big block WB will be back again this year, but they'll have some stiff competition from the Horsepower Factory team and their MRPSI ute. Their baby packs a twin turbo small block Chev instead of the usual LS-based mill. Fun fun!

Larry O'Toole and the good people from Graffiti Publications have released a new soft cover book - Hot Rod International - in time for Christmas...and it has a lil picture of my car in it! What a buzz!

Besides that, Larry has really outdone himself this time. There is a heap of cool stuff in there, but I love the shed features and the Goodwood Cacklefest yarn. 224 pages, excellent-quality stock and only $15. Top job!

Custom EJ Holden

Prefer a sixties Holden? Aden dreamed up this wild back-to-front EJ bubbletop, with a front roll pan, concave grille, motorcycle headlights and side feeds to feed the Corvair powerplant. Wild, baby!

Custom XL Falcon

     Another fantastic concept from Aden Jacobi, a wild bubble-top XL Falcon. Details include Vette-style bumpers, a tube grile, twin headlights and half-bubble roof with an enclosed rear section. Somebody build this thing!
